MATERIALS NEEDED (affiliate links):
WHAT TO DO:
- Start out by writing the numbers 1-20 on sticky notes and sticking them to the wall.
- Then cut up some of the sticky notes into thirds with each piece having a sticky end to it.
- On each small piece write an addition or subtraction problem that corresponds to one of the big sticky notes on the wall.
- Once you have all 20 math problems written, let them match up the math problems with the correct answer!
VARIATIONS:
This activity could also be adapted for:
- Upper/lowercase letter matching
- Shapes matching (for toddlers)
- Multiplication/division for older kids.
